There is no shortage of types of water, but which one should I drink? My choice is to drink only water that has been distilled. Why you ask? I must take many capsules every day. Many means over 40 capsules and pills each day. Obviously, that is a large number. I must get down all of these pills without throwing them up.

I developed osteoporosis and have needed to get down calcium bone pills each day

Because of the drugs I that needed to have, complications have arisen. I have to swallow more pills that counteract these prior medical problems. One situation is that I developed osteoporosis and have had to get down calcium bone supplements daily. This is because of sustained use of Prednisone, because of pretty severe Crohns disease. Now, I must swallow two additional calcium osteoporosis pills to help with my osteoporosis. This is one reason why I am required to get down so many pills each day. While doing this, I am often distracted by the taste of the various chemicals in our tap water.

I do not understand it, but my town seems to have water with lots of chlorine. I can taste it easily. Quality reports come with the water bill that tell me the local water has a lot of chemical additives. These chemicals worry me.

I mean, naturally, the water has chemicals, because the water flows out of nature. Nevertheless, some of the other stuff is shocking. The water company serves so many people, and they must ensure that the local water supply is safe to drink. Read the water analyses that come with your water bill, and you’ll see what I mean. While ignorance might seem to be bliss, I’m actually glad I read them.

A while back a friend stopped by to see me and we had a conversation about water purity. Because he travels for a living, and he commented that he usually brings purified, distilled water. I asked him why distilled? He commented that this is the one water knows he won’t get sick on. In addition, he can get distilled, purified water in any grocery store.

I thought that was interesting. In the past, I had just used distilled water for ironing. Since his visit, I’ve had even more intestinal problems. Because of these problems, I now have to take quite a few more pills. To deal with the nutritional side effects of Crohn’s Disease, I also must swallow vitamins, including multivitamins and some extra vitamins along with a calcium pyruvate 1000 mg supplement that are medically prescribed.

Crohns Disease causes me to be very sensitive to smells that make it so that I can’t keep my medicine down. Therefore, it is best for me to drink only distilled water, because I must always take all my drugs and vitamins every day.
