Folks keep looking for quick results. Long term solutions often work better, but they often take a long time to show results and require a long term commitment. People have trouble with both elements. It’s no different with weight loss. Folks who want to lose weight are constantly seek the fast weight loss diet. The problem is that fast weight loss usually means yo-yo weight loss, the pounds return after the diet ends. When integrated into an overall healthy diet, fad diets can be of benefit.
Here’s a three day diet sure to take off the weight. But make sure it’s just one element of an overall healthy eating habit.
For day on breakfast is black coffee or tea with (Sweet & Low or Equal) or a glass of water, one half Grapefruit or 8 oz Juice, and 1 piece of toast with one Tbsp. Peanut Butter. Lunch is half a cup of Tuna on 1 slice of toast and black coffee or tea (sweetened with Sweet & Low or Equal) or water. Dinner is 3 ounces of a lean meat, 1 cup of green beans, a cup of carrots, 1 cup of vanilla ice cream, 1 medium apple, and to drink as usual black coffee or tea (with Sweet & Low or Equal) or water.
On the second day breakfast consists of black coffee or tea (with Sweet & Low or Equal) or water, One egg (any style,), 1 piece of toast, and 1 banana. Lunch consists of 1 cup of cottage cheese or tuna, 5 saltine crackers, and black coffee or tea (with Sweet & Low or Equal) or water. Dinner consists of two beef franks or hot dogs, 1/2 cup of carrots,1 banana, 1 cup of broccoli or cabbage, one half cup of vanilla ice cream, and black coffee or tea (with Sweet & Low or Equal) or water.
And finally day 3 breakfast includes black coffee or tea (with Sweet & Low or Equal) or a glass of water, five regular saltine crackers, one oz. (slice) cheddar cheese, and one apple. Lunch includes 1 hard boiled egg, one piece of toast, and black coffee or tea (with Sweet & Low or Equal) or water. Dinner is 1 cup of tuna, 1 cup of carrots, one cup of cauliflower, one cup of melon, a half cup of regular vanilla ice cream, and black coffee or tea (with Sweet & Low or Equal) or a glass of water.
Cottage cheese can be substituted for tuna, an orange can be substituted for grapefruit, frozen yogurt can replace the ice cream, and as much lemon, salt and pepper, and mustard can be used as desired. Please remember that this fast weight loss diet is designed as a three day diet, only to be eaten along with an overall balanced diet. Consider asking the local hospital for their idea of a low calorie diet.
